About Me

Ayomide "Mide" Alabi is a legal strategist and policy analyst who bridges the gap between complex energy regulations and seamless corporate compliance. As the founder of Trellis Africa, he builds the governance infrastructure that startups and SMEs need to operate and scale securely in evolving markets.
Mide Alabi graduated in the 90th percentile of his Nigerian Law School class and holds professional memberships in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and the Nigerian Gas Association. His expertise in data protection and commercial advisory is further applied through his work at Enebeli and Partners Legal.
A 2025 African Research Writing Prize Honouree, his insights on regulatory trends are frequently featured in TheCable and Premium Times. Beyond the law, he is a pianist and the convener of the Never Stop Giving Foundation. He remains dedicated to fostering a transparent, compliant, and data driven future for Africa.
